Luminous Street Festival (formally known as Neon Night Trail) is back for the second weekend of April (12th and 13th) and will transform the Claremont Town Centre into a glowing wonderland of illuminated fun.
Over two nights you can enjoy a range of immersive and interactive luminous activities including street entertainers, musical entertainment, a light projection and installation, interactive art, silent disco, face painting, neon canvas painting activity and sweet treats.
Event participants can enjoy the free festivities along the northern end of Bay View Terrace, closed to traffic to allow for a pedestrian safe space, and along Maude Jackson Walk and car park area located near Walt Drabble Lane.
The event showcases local artist Beamhacker who will have an immersive glowing light installation displayed in Maude Jackson Walk. As well as Vjzoo, local light projection artists Kat & Jasper, will be creating a bright interactive light projection to illuminate the Town Centre.
Volter International will be bringing their interactive creative light art all the way from Melbourne to light up the Town Centre, created by visual artist Carla O’Brien.
To add to the vibrant atmosphere a range of local businesses in the Claremont Town Centre will be open late putting on special offers and activations for event attendees.
