  • November 9, 2023

If you haven’t visited it recently, the Claremont Town Centre is Perth’s premier place to shop, dine, and be entertained. Offering a luxury, boutique shopping experience and a lovely selection of eateries, it is a must visit for anyone looking to treat themselves or get some Christmas shopping done!

The Town Centre is easily accessible by car, bus and train, situated conveniently off Stirling Highway which runs between the Perth CBD and Fremantle. There is a range of free timed street parking and 3-hour free parking within Claremont Quarter making it a convenient destination to visit.

Here’s how we recommend you treat yourself to a day out in the Claremont Town Centre:

Shop Till You Drop!

The Town Centre is home to Perth’s Luxury Shopping Centre: Claremont Quarter. With 143 retailers made up of a large range of boutique brands. You can even book your own styling session to enhance your luxury shopping experience and receive a complimentary glass of champagne to enjoy at The Claremont Hotel after your session!

For more boutique retailers, stroll along the leafy green streets of the Town Centre, where you’ll find the Old Theatre Lane along Bay View Terrace, which is home to an eclectic laneway housing boutiques such as La Lucca, Cotton Blossom, the charming The Lane Bookshop and more.

Pick up a gift for a loved one from Modern Era and Monde Design, or spice up your own wardrobe with some luxury essentials from Dilettante, Mode and Affaire and Zomp Shoez.

Treat Your Taste Buds!

Have a break from retail therapy and take a bite to eat at some of our favourite dining spots in Claremont:

Typika Artisan Roasters

Typika is an espresso bar and kitchen offering delicious food and great coffee. If you’re a coffee lover then make sure you try their house blend from the finest Brazil, India and Mexico 100% Arabica beans!

The Claremont Hotel

No introduction needed. Enjoy a classic pub-style meal and beverages at The Claremont from their produce-led menu. Treat yourself to a bottomless brunch every Sunday from 10am-12pm, Trivia Nights every Tuesday and much more.

The Lane Café

Find this quaint, cute café located in Old Theatre Lane serving up delicious home cooked baked goods and meals from 7:30pm-2pm every day. Enjoy something sweet or savoury, the Lane Café has it all.

Nolita

Looking for something a little bit more up market? Enjoy the authentic Trattoria style Italian cuisine at Nolita, accompanied with a beverage from their in-house bar. Or BYO wine on a Monday and Tuesday or even enjoy oyster shucking every Friday.

Explore the Public Art!

The Town Centre is not only home to great shopping and dining experiences but also to a range of public art sculptures and murals you can explore.

Some great pieces to not miss in the Town Centre include ‘Forest Dance’ located in Maude Jackson Walk by Kyle Hughes-Odgers, ‘Road to nowhere’ located in Walt Drabble Lane by Fintan Magee and ‘Oh La La‘ by Coral Lowry, located on Bay View Terrace.
