As part of its 40th Anniversary Australian tour, this record-breaking spectacle is set to mesmerise Perth audiences once again. The Story
Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, CATS transports you to the Jellicle Ball. A magical night where one special cat will be chosen to journey to the Heaviside Layer for a new life. With its timeless score, breathtaking choreography and spectacular sets, CATS promises an unforgettable theatrical experience.
The Cast
Perth will be treated to the incredible talents of Gabriyel Thomas (Sister Act) as Grizabella, ready to make your heart ache with the iconic Memory. Todd McKenney will be taking on the delightful dual roles of Bustopher Jones and Asparagus, the Theatre Cat. Classical sensation Mark Vincent will grace the stage as the wise and beloved Old Deuteronomy. The wonderful Lucy Maunder will portray the caring Jellylorum. With the charismatic Des Flanagan (of Moulin Rouge! The Musical fame) will be the mischievous Rum Tum Tugger. As well as WAAPA graduate Jarrod Draper stepping into the role of the storytelling Munkustrap. Adding to this fantastic lineup, Leigh Archer returns as the motherly Jennyanydots.
