Feeling The Need for Speed? Where to Try Go Karting in Perth!

Buckle up thrill-seekers! Perth’s got a race track calling your name! Ditch the traffic jams and try out the best go-karting spots around. From electric speed demons to feeling the wind in your hair outdoors, we’ve got all the info you need to unleash your inner Daniel Ricciardo. So, put the pedal to the metal and let’s find your perfect go-karting adventure!

Hi Voltage

Danger danger, Hi Voltage (sorry, couldn’t resist that opportunity)! This is WA’s largest indoor go kart circuit covering over 3000 square metres and 350 metres of length. The Bringing you a variety of corners and high-speed sections to challenge all driver levels. Choose three different electric kart types: single adult kart, duo kart or junior kart to put your skills to the test. Whilst you’re there check out their glow in the dark mini golf course, indoor play area for little ones and stop by the bar and cafe for a bevvy and snack after all the fun!

Hi Voltage is located in Belmont and open daily from 9:30 AM until 10 PM, so you can stay and play all day and night! Bookings can be made through their website, with prices starting from $36 for go karting (one race). They even offer up a great Friday night date special, which includes go karting, mini golf, a pizza and drinks for just $99.

The Kart Centre

The Kart Centre in Canning Vale features an indoor track that is over 230 metres, featuring 12 technical corners and a barrier system that safely absorbs impact. The circuit has been designed by racers, for racers. Testing drivers of all levels, offering a variety of high-speed sections to challenge your go karting skills! The user friendly circuit for all skill levels, offers two types of karts. Ride in either a single kart by yourself, or a double kart with someone else. These electric karts can reach speeds up to 50 kph! Want to experience even more? The Kart Centre also houses the first interactive axe throwing experience in perth and an interactive cricket centre!

Open everyday from 10 AM until 10 PM, with prices starting from $37.50 per person (10 minute race). You can book through their website here.

Mega Fast Karts

Located in Wanneroo, Mega Fast Karts is the place to go if you want to follow in the footsteps of some great drivers! This is the only outdoor and non-electric go karting venue on our list, for those who really want to feel the rush! Get real experience on a real 840 metre track, at the same place that Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo has raced. Who knows, maybe this will kickstart your racing career or just be a great activity to try with your mates. Offering up three go kart types, choose from senior, junior or even dual vehicles to test your abilities in! You can even organise a grand prix with 12 people that includes practice laps, race laps, professional lap timing and of course a trophy for the winner, what a cool experience!

The price for senior and dual kart races start at $40 (10 minutes), with juniors just $35 (10 minutes). If you’re keen to organise a grand prix it’ll cost you $100 per person. Mega Fast Karts are open 6 days a week (closed on Monday’s) from 10 AM and 12 PM on Sundays. Bookings can be made through their website.

PowerPlay

Want to try your skills sliding around corners on a two level track? Look no further than PowerPlay. The perfect place for challenging your friends, family or work colleagues in powerful electric karts located in Joondalup and Bibra Lake. With ramps, a bridge and a tunnel, it will challenge even the keenest revhead! Not only that but the track is extra wide so you can slide through the corners like a pro. Keep an eye on the big screen scoreboard that records every lap and try to climb the leaderboard to get bragging rights at the end of the race! After your hot laps jump into the arcade to cool down.

Prices start from $37 per adult and $33 per child (one race of 18 laps) and they even offer a date night package perfect for a night out with your partner. Open from Monday to Friday 10 AM to 9 PM and Saturdays & Sundays from 9 AM until 9 PM. With special open times on school holidays; 9 AM to 9 PM every day. Book your next race here.
