Run by Philip Noakes who has decades of international jewellery and silversmithing knowledge and experience; meaning you’re being taught by the best of the best! You can choose to make textured earrings, stacker rings or hammered bangles, all with your very own designs. Classes start from $155 per person and can be booked via their website. If you’re looking for something extra special for your big day, you can even take your partner to a private class and make your own wedding bands!

Polymer Clay Earrings Workshop

Want to create something more colourful? Why not try your hand at making polymer clay earrings with this workshop available through Sunshine Lane. You will be working on a slab of polymer clay and learning basic techniques to add designs onto the slab and create your own earrings! The best part? Any earrings that you create from your slab of polymer clay, you get to keep! The session will run for two hours and 15 mins and will include curing time for your earrings. This workshop is suitable for kids over nine years old, if you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your kids! For $100 per person you can book and try your hand at polymer clay creations.

The SilverRen

The SilverRen have been running jewellery workshops since 2018 for people who want to explore their creativity, and of course make their own fabulous silver pieces. The supportive classes are kept small ensuring each student gets a comprehensive learning experience to express their creativity, with no prior experience needed. You can choose to make rings, enamel jewellery, earrings, bangles and even a paperclip bracelet. All workshops are held in studio at the Mosaic Collective in Maylands, with prices starting at $170 (not including material price) for 3.5 hours of jewellery creativity and fun! There are also opportunities for extended courses for you to improve your skills over time.
