Or simply loves quality time together, we’ve got unique ideas to transform your last-minute scramble into a day she’ll never forget.

Book a Class To Try Something New!

Treat Mum to an unforgettable experience that goes beyond the ordinary. From crafting personalized perfumes to conjuring your own gin. These unique classes offer a chance to learn a new skill together, create a lasting memento. And most importantly, have a ton of fun in the process! So grab your Mum and get ready to unleash your inner artist (or alchemist) – memories (and masterpieces) guaranteed!

Perfume Making Class

Surrounded by whimsical florals upstairs at Spring in the Perth CBD. Scented Enchantments will guide you through creating your own signature scents to take home! Accompanied by a bottle of sparkling wine, a cocktail teapot. And a grazing board featuring charcuterie meats, cheeses and desserts. You’ll be surrounded by sweet smells, tastes and company. This class will run from 1 PM until 3 PM on Mother’s Day eve (11th of May). Tickets are available here for $79 per person.

make your own Gin

Calling all gin lovers, this is the class for you! Republic of Fremantle is running an exclusive gin school experience this Mother’s Day (12th of May). Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a delicious cocktail before beginning your gin-making adventure. Work together to create a bespoke gin recipe from 28 curated botanicals. And both walk away with your own 500mL custom-distilled gin. This 2.5 hour experience has two sessions at 11 AM or 3 PM and costs $125 per person. If you feeling like spoiling Mum even more you can add on a Mother’s Day lunch for an extra $60 per person. And be treated to a selection of share plates by the head chef. This lunch begins at 1:30 PM and everything can be booked here.

Tea Blending Workshop & High Tea

Take Mum to a high tea with a twist. Why not try your hand at blending your very own tea?! This workshop is held by award winning tea mixologist Jodie from The Tea Crowd. You’ll get to play around with almost 40 ingredients of tea leaves, herbs and spices to make your own tea blends. And enjoy high-tea style nibbles whilst you’re at it! Running from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Enjoy a mimosa on arrival, guidance to make your own herbal, green and black teas. And of course glass jars or pouches for your new creations. Tickets for this workshop are available here.

Sip Wine & Learn Pottery

Looking for something more relaxing, full of fun and creativity to spoil Mum? Perth Pottery Co in Inglewood are hosting a beginner friendly pottery class. Choose to make a beautiful mug, stunning vase, a cool incense burner or funky pot plant holder! So you can get creative, relax and enjoy a glass or two of prosecco, rosé, red or white wine and a beautiful cheese board! All materials including the glazing and firing of two pieces are included in the $95 ticket price. With sessions at either 1:00 PM or 3:30 PM on Mother’s Day available to book now.

Gold or Silver Ring Making Class

This is one for Mum’s who love jewellery or just learning an awesome new skill! Join Blonde in West Perth to design, make, and walk away with two of your very own handmade sterling silver or solid 9ct gold rings. During the two-hour workshop, your mentor will walk you through the basics of silver or goldsmithing. Learn techniques such as sawing, annealing, soldering, filing and polishing. Your ring size, shape and look are completely customisable. You’ll be able to put lettering or numbering on the inside or outside. These classes are booking out very fast, with only one seating (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM) on Mother’s Day still available to book. Tickets start from $199 when booking for one person or $349 when booking for two.

Paint & Sip

Calling all budding, experienced or just wanna give it a go artists. This class is for you and Mum! Collaborate together with your choice of creating matching mother nature canvas paintings (Freo or Perth CBD studio). A textured family friendly rays and bows artwork (Hillarys studio). A banksia bloom jug (Vic Park studio). Or a garden of gratitude vase (Vic Park studio). Inspired by the idea of spending quality time with Mum and making something memorable. The classes vary from two to three hours in session length, giving you plenty of time to create your work or art. Sip back on your favourite BYO drinks and connect with Mum. You’ll be guided step-by-step through your session by a local artist with your ticket inclusive of all creative materials starting from $59 per person.

If a class or workshop isn’t quite up Mum’s alley. Spoil her with a scrumptious outing that caters to every taste. From elegant high teas to vibrant brunches with stunning views, Perth’s restaurants are offering unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re looking for a sophisticated soiree or a playful family gathering. There’s a delicious adventure waiting to be devoured this Mother’s Day!

High Tea at May Street Larder

A Mother’s Day tradition for many for a great reason! May Street Larder’s artisan high tea in East Freo starts with a welcome drink of a glass of sparkling, mimosa, or orange juice. Then sit back, relax and enjoy house-made, sweet and savoury treats. Alongside a few non-traditional surprises like a Korean fried chicken slider on an elegant three-tiered stand, paired with tea infusions. With booking times for 9:00 AM all the way until 1:00 PM for two hour sittings. This experience will cost you $55 per person.

Three Course Lunch at Bib & Tucker

Celebrate Mum with a three-course shared menu with a beach view of Leighton Beach. That includes woodfired tiger prawns, woodfired chermoula chicken, crispy potatoes and delicious dessert. This tasty Bib & Tucker lunch is booking out very fast and is is $85 per person and $25 per child. Bookings can be made here.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Perth Zoo

Is your Mum an animal lover? Well good news, Perth Zoo is giving free entry to all Mum’s for Mother’s Day. Better yet you can book a beautiful brunch at the new Maali restaurant inside the zoo. Choose from sittings at either 9:30 AM or 11:30 AM and enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival. Sharing plate with croissants, a fruit platter and more, with your choice of main. If you’re bringing along little ones their booking even includes a cookie decorating kit! The brunch costs $80 per adult and $40 per child, available to book here. If you want to make the experience even more memorable you could add on a close encounter with one of the zoo animals. Or even sponsoring an animal in Mum’s name!

Feed Me Feast or Wine Pairing Experience at Besk

One of Leederville‘s most well loved spots has put together two delicious experiences to help you spoil Mum this Mother’s Day. Try out the feed me menu at Besk for $85 per person with bookings from 11 AM. Try oysters, buffalo burrata, Margaret River wagyu and much more. If you want to treat Mum to something a little more educational book in for their wine school. Where you’ll delve into wine and cheese pairing in their cellar with Besk’s sommelier. This experience runs from 11 AM until 1:30 PM for $85 per person.

Brunch, Lunch or Dinner at Lums wine bar

If you haven’t heard of the hip new wine bar in Subiaco Lums, this is the perfect opportunity for you to give it a go with Mum in tow! Offering up brunch, lunch or dinner sessions this is a delicious way to spoil her this Mother’s Day. The three course brunch for $60 per person includes toasted brioche pintxos. Spanish baked eggs, a dessert board and of course a complimentary glass of bubbles. With booking sessions available from 10 AM to 11:30 AM this is perfect for the early risers. If you’re treating Mum to a sleep-in try out the lunch or dinner three course fiesta, with a selection of Chef’s seasonal favourites and a glass of bubbles as well. Bookings for lunch start at 12 PM. With the last booking at 2 PM and dinner starting at 5 PM, last booking at 7:30 PM. Both are $65 per person.

Asian-Inspired Feast at Sweetwater Rooftop Bar

Treat Mum to an Asian-inspired feast with a stunning view over Fremantle. Book your spot Sweetwater Rooftop Bar to enjoy a full table service experience. And try a selection of their best dishes. This indulgent meal costs $90 per person. Or $139 person if you’d like to upgrade to a two hour beverage package. With seatings from 11:30 AM up until 2:30 PM, book your spot to ensure Mum doesn’t miss out this Mother’s Day!

Long Lunch and Free Flowing Margaritas at Market Grounds

Mother’s Day is all about toasting to all of the wonderful Mum’s in our lives and Market Grounds is here to help you do so! Celebrate with a Mexican inspired long lunch of seasonal plates plus two hours of free-flowing margaritas, signature cocktails, wines, bubbles & beers. With two sessions available, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM or 2 PM until 4 PM for $79 per person bookings are essential.

If you’re looking for something a more low key, why not pack a picnic and take Mum to one of Perth’s beautiful parks. We suggest Hyde Park, Kings Park or even Scarborough beach front.
