Froth Craft Brewery has officially opened their newest taphouse, Froth Craft Beach. Occupying a prime position on West Coast Drive in North Beach (in front of the North Beach Shops precinct). With a sea view to go with their tasty pizzas and expansive beverage menu. Since opening two weeks ago the venue has been filled since 11 AM with a line to the street and it’s easy to see why!
Froth Craft Beach has a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere, open to all ages, families, kids (with a play area on site) and even your favourite four-legged pals. Froth is currently serving up its own in-house beers and seltzer, that are brewed at their own brewery in Bunbury. With a rotating guest tap to debut down the track. There’s a selection of 16 craft brews on tap! With something for all beer palates; from lagers, rice lagers, I.P.As, ales, sours, stouts, mids, ginger beer and seltzer.
We recommend trying out their Yeah Baby! Ginger Beer and Sukoshi Japanese Rice Lager. Both are delicious and so so smooth! There’s also a wide selection of WA wines on offer, that match the coastal, easy drinking nature of the establishment. If cider is your choice of beverage, they have a permanent cider tap from FUNK Cider in the Swan Valley. Cocktails, frozen slushies and a selection of fine booze rounds out the offering to cater to all drinkers’ palates. There’s something for everyone and plenty to try out for the first time if you’re feeling adventurous!
Paired perfectly with their own brewed selection are Froth’s delectable pizzas served up on wooden boards. The food offering is expanded with a collaborative effort from popular adjacent eatery 96 Express. Where you can feast on share plates, corn ribs, fish and chips, plus burgers by ordering from the QR codes on Froth’s tables.
Venue
Froth’s decor is characterised by a down-to-earth aesthetic: recycled brick walls, shipyard rope ceilings. And an upcycled centrepiece in the bar, that was a former seven-metre-long jarrah boat built in 1948, the “Surfleet”, originally owned and used by Busselton Scouts. The venue also features a two-tiered terraced deck, with rustic, handmade wooden slab recessed benches and tables under sunshades. That open out onto a spectacular 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean.
This is the third venture (and first Perth venue) from froth masters Pete Firth, Phillip Grey and Tyler Little. You may have heard of this trio, when they made a name for themselves in W.A’s North-West in 2017. For opening the first ever micro-brewpub between Perth and Broome: Froth Craft Brewery in Exmouth. Last year they expanded to the South West, opening Froth Craft Bunbrewery, Bunbury’s first ever brewpub.
Froth Craft Beach is open 7 days a week, 11am – late. Walk-ins only, with bookings coming in the new year. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with what they’re serving up!
