Perth is home to a vibrant bubble tea scene, with new shops popping up all the time. Here is our guide to the best bubble tea around Perth! From fresh fruity teas to cheese foam to yogurt drinks. We’ve tried and tested bubble teas from all over and compiled this list of our top picks! Whether you’re looking for a classic milk tea or something more unique. You’re sure to find something you love on this list. Next time you’re craving bubble tea, be sure to check out one of these spots! You won’t be disappointed.

Gotcha

Located in Booragoon and Karrinyup. Gotcha Fresh Tea serves up freshly brewed tea that is made for each individual order. Ensuring an excellent taste in every sip! To make it even better, Gotcha farm their own tea from a single plantation, which is proudly advertised all over their cups. As well as their cutely branded regular cups, they also collaborate with popular brands. Such as Hello Kitty, Sesame Street and Pokemon to release single use and reusable cups that sell out super quickly. If you’re looking to try out one of their teas, their most popular is the black sugar pearl with fresh milk.

King Tea

If you’re looking to try cheese foam for the first time or on the search for who is serving up the best cheese foam in Perth, look no further. King Tea were the first to introduce the concept right here in Australia. Since then have made it their signature, serving up a menu full of cheesy options. Our top pick is their watermelon green tea crush with cheese foam. Which you can try at one of their locations in Carousel, Mandurah or Cockburn.

Popping up all over Perth are newcomers Bobaboba! Their teas are handpicked in Taiwan by their tea master, ensuring you get the best brews in your cup. The team also use fresh fruit grown right here in WA and hand make their boba everyday, for the freshest tea around! If you’re after something super special, you can even hire them to cater your event. Bubble tea at your wedding? Yes please! Our top pick is their white peach lychee crush bubble tea. Try it out at any of their locations in Altone Park, Belmont, Cockburn, Kingsway, Morley, Northbridge or Victoria Park.

Yes Lemon

Yes Lemon is a new hidden gem located in Mount Lawley, on the ever popular Beaufort Street. Their teas have a fresh tasting flavour that comes from hand smashing citrus fruits for every drink. As well as using house made sugar. To make this Thai tea spot even cuter, they hand out little rubber ducks with every order and accessories to dress your duck up with (when in stock). Their peachberry lemon tea is a must try.

Machi Machi

With locations in East Victoria Park, Carousel and Claremont, Machi Machi‘s milk tea is amongst the best in Perth! Starting off their stores over east in Sydney over four years ago, the popularity has followed them over here. Holding the title for the inventors of black milk tea with crème crulee (a must try!). They also offer up the cutest bottled teas to take with you on the go.

Hi-Tea

Hi-Tea offers up over 100 different flavours in their Morley, Crawley and Scarborough locations. From their whole menu of creamy, exotic, flora, fruity, latte and snow teas. We would recommend checking out their refreshing mango green tea!

If you’re craving an authentic Thai milk tea, you have to check out Teaholic! This WA born bubble tea spot serves up fresh tea with interesting toppings. Such as: oreos, tofu pudding, taro paste, aloe vera and many more. Check out our personal fave drink their pandan coconut milky with pandan jelly next time you’re by one of their stores in Crawley or the CBD.

Bubble tea with yogurt? You have to try it! Hey! I Am Yogost offers a healthier option with their all-natural yogurt drinks that are made with purple rice and real fruits. You can find them in Northbridge and East Victoria Park. Our pick from here is their rice mango romance drink.

Shhhh! You’ll want to keep this one quiet, as this hidden gem has just one location in Victoria Park. Torochi has the cutest mascot in their branding, that pairs perfectly with their sweet curated selection of bubble teas and desserts! To ensure freshness they make their own homemade grass jelly and shaved ice. The perfect pick from Torochi is their watermelon coconut and their fruits coconut sago, delicious.

Bringing a taste of Taiwan to Perth is ever popular T4! They offer up all your favourite well known bubble tea flavours at each of their ten stores. With locations in Harrisdale and Rockingham. Once For All has been a favourite amongst local bubble tea lovers for years now and it’s easy to see why. Serving up a wide range of fresh fruity teas to lattes and everything in between. If you’re looking for a recommendation on what to try, you have to try their four season fruit tea.

This dessert store located in the CBD doesn’t just serve up Korean sweets, but also has a small array of bubble tea worth stopping by for. Hanabing is known for its bingsu (hence the second part of the stores name). Which is a desert consisting of fine shaven milk with toppings. Whilst they may only offer three bubble tea options, they still make our list due to how tasty the drinks are.

Located in Girrawheen, this little known spot is popular amongst locals for all the right reasons. Bubble Tea Marangaroo has been offering up a wide range of bubble tea flavours for years now and recently added grab-n-go teas to their store, talk about convenience!
