Studio spaces created with content creation in mind have been popping up all over Perth for a few years now. Mainly due to the ever growing local influencer scene right here in WA. We’ve put together a list of our favourite creative hotspots. Perfect for you to shoot trending social media content or even a business photoshoot for all of your socials!
Parker + Stone
Parker + Stone is a creatives paradise in Osborne Park! This fully-equipped studio comes complete with beautiful natural light and professional photography lighting options. As well as seating options, funky props and of course wifi. The legends behind this studio believe that everyone should be able to make kickass content without breaking the bank. That’s why studio hire is only $45 per hour, with minimum booking time only being an hour! It’s easy to see why this influencer favourite hotspot is constantly booked out by locals.
Studio Northbridge
Right in the heart of Northbridge, is aptly named Studio Northbridge. A versatile studio space purpose built to create videography and photography content with everything you could ever need on-site. Including a separate space for makeup, hair and styling. Get the perfect shot with 180 degrees on natural lighting and fully customised professional lighting options. Utilise furniture, props and a range of backdrops; all you need to do is bring your camera and get shooting. To hire out the space a minimum booking of two hours is required at a cost of $58 per hour ($77 per hour on weekends and after hours).
That Content Place
Designed specifically with creators in mind, That Content Place is a one-stop-shop for social media content. This hotspot is super popular with local influencers and brands. Located north of Perth in Gnangara, the studio features cascading white walls and concrete spaces that make the perfect backdrop for any creative shoot. Plenty of trendy props and furniture are on-site ready to be utilised, as well as lighting equipment to help get the perfect shot and an array of coloured backdrops to set your perfect scene. There minimum hire time is one hour and will cost you $60 per hour on weekdays and $75 per hour on weekends. Studio Precinct
Founded by local influencer Em Davies, Studio Precinct is self-described as “a creatively curated space with a mid-century/industrial aesthetic”. Located in Osborne Park, this full-service studio includes on-trend props and furniture that are updated every 3-6 months. Making it the perfect space to regularly create social media content and get different shots every time. Make use of backdrops, a makeup/beauty station and natural lighting. As well as a high-rise white sweep background, professional lighting equipment, concrete walls and tripods. Which are all included on-site in your booking to ensure you’re fully equipped to realise your creative vision. If you’re new to the content game Studio Precinct also offers creative services by Em Davies and Temika Miller to help you out at an extra cost. Studio hire is $69 per hour, with a two hour minimum booking slot.
Flash Photo Studios
Located in Balcatta, Flash Photo Studios has been designed for photographers and content creators alike. The space comes fully equipped with all the essentials, including a range of backdrops and huge white cyclorama. As well as roller door access, professional lighting options, free Wi-Fi, props and even a range of seating options. The studio is available at anytime, we’re talking 24 hours, 7 days a week at a rate of $50 per hour with a minimum booking slot of two hours. Making it super accessible at anytime that suits your needs.
M Studios
Established in 2021, M Studios is a perfect studio space for local creatives. This super professional spot features a styling room, fully equipped kitchen and fitting room. As well as a huge white cyclorama (large curved wall) shooting area, concrete shooting area and an upstairs (for an extra cost). The studio is located in Yangebup and studio hire is $95 + GST per hour, with a 2 hour minimum booking time. Did we mention the space features a huge roller door, to ensure large props and even cars are easily able to move into the studio? The possibilities are endless!
Photofinity Studios
Photofinity Studios is an independent studio perfectly kitted out for photographic and videography content. Boasting the largest infinity curve cyclorama in Western Australia. The 380 square metre space is located south of Perth in Bibra Lake. Featuring a lounge area to relax in during your creative shoots, fully equipped kitchenette and huge studio space. As well as two large changing rooms, make-up area and a large access door to bring in large props big enough to fit a truck. Yes seriously that’s how massive this studio is!
Feld & Co
Founded in 2018, Feld & Co is a gorgeous oasis style warehouse space perfect for social media content creation located in Booragoon. The studio is available to hire at $60 per hour with a two hour minimum and is inclusive of all the essentials to make your shoot a success. These essentials include a range of backdrops, kitchen facilities, a range of trendy furniture and a variety of cute props including so many plants.
