Spring on Queen (formerly the Flour Factory) has unveiled their newest exciting offering! In the form of a collaboration with Beyond Distilling. Their newest pop-up in Perth CBD, opens September 4th. Beyond City Distillery welcomes you to ‘Be Still’ – take a moment to pause and discover exceptional craftsmanship amid the city’s hustle and bustle. With a great selection of ways to enjoy their range of spirits, there is something for everyone!
Who are Beyond Distilling?
Established down south in WA, Beyond Distilling brings its commitment to local ingredients and sustainability to the heart of Perth. The distillery sources native botanicals from Broome to Freo, with 98% of the botanicals grown within 500km of Perth. The team incorporates rare and local botanicals, such as: organic lemon verbena from Nannup, saltbush from Busselton, Geraldton wax from Geraldton and many more. Each bottle is hand-filled and decorated with artwork by WA’s Lauren Kennedy, reflecting their commitment to sourcing local talent. The core Beyond range includes vodka and three gin varieties, while their cocktail collections offer small-batch whiskey, brandy, rakija and pre-mixed cocktails. Beyond Experiences
With the introduction of ten baby copper stills at the Queen Street location, you can get up close and personal and learn the craft of distilling through intimate masterclasses. In the form of bookable ‘Make Your Own Gin’ workshops and access to exclusive museum release tastings. Indulge in Beyond Bottomless lunches or even a Curated Cocktail Degustation experience. Featuring with dishes from Spring’s seasonal menu matched with expertly crafted Beyond cocktails. Oh and the most exciting? The famous Flour Factory gin wheel may even be making a comeback appearance!
Launch Dates and Bookings
The pop-up distillery will be open from Wednesday to Saturday for drinks and walk-ins. With Masterclasses starting Wednesday September 4th and Beyond Bottomless Lunches beginning Saturday the 7th of September.
