Forget generic hotel rooms, we’re talking about sleeping in a lovingly restored vintage train carriage, a cozy wine barrel or even a converted 1944 DC-3 aircraft. These aren’t just places to rest your head, they’re destinations in their own right. Each with a story to tell and an experience to share. Get ready to discover your next extraordinary retreat and make memories that will last a lifetime.

The Lily

Step back in time for an unforgettable stay at The Lily, a truly unique retreat with stunning views of the Stirling Range. This accommodation offers a choice of extraordinary and private stays, each with its own charm. The centerpiece is an authentic, five-story replica of a 16th-century Dutch windmill. Which is fully operational and produces stone-ground spelt flour. You can also stay in a replica Dutch House or a reconstructed 1924 Federation-style railway station. The most iconic option however, is a stay in a piece of aviation history; a 1944 Dakota DC-3 aircraft. Believed to be the only Dakota short-term accommodation in the world! The plane has been cleverly converted into a cozy, self-contained space for two. Featuring a bedroom, kitchen and a living area. The cargo doors open to an outside seating area with spectacular, uninterrupted views of the Stirling Range.

Whichever you pick, you’ll find yourself in a space where nature and design literally intertwine. Think giant boulders peeking through bathroom walls and massive tree trunks soaring through cathedral ceilings.
