Get ready to swing and sway your way through October as Perth’s Yagan Square Amphitheatre transforms into a sensational jazz haven every Friday in October! The Jazz in the Square series, will feature free live concerts at sunset for the whole family!
On Friday 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of October from 6.30pm, Yagan Square will host Perth’s top jazz vocalists, musicians, dancers, and performers for open-air music events. The series will feature the Ellington Jazz Club, Perth Cabaret Collective, WA Youth Jazz Orchestra and Swingin at the Savoy, with a different theme each week.
The events are suitable for the whole family, with the first two events featuring children’s activities such as face painting and giant bubbles! A variety of food offerings and soft drinks will also be available for purchase at every performance, and picnics are welcome.
Grab a cushion or rug to claim your spot to soak up the sounds of spring with swing in the heart of Perth. No tickets are required and each show runs for approximately two hours with breaks.
