From the arrival of a world-renowned circus to a bold new standard in affordable dining, Perth is bursting with incredible things to see, do and taste this week! The city’s cultural heart is getting a jolt of energy as Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo makes its long-awaited Australian debut, while the free Hatched art exhibition takes over a new space in the CBD. On the food front, the options are just as diverse. Indulge in an exclusive whisky-pairing dinner at Miss Mi, master the art of cocktails at The Stables, join the $22 pizza revolution at Il Locale or cure the mid-week blues with line dancing and $1 wings.

Il Locale $22 Pizzas

How much did you pay for your last gourmet pizza? If it was anywhere near $30, one of WA’s fastest-growing pizza brands thinks you’ve been overcharged for too long. Il Locale has launched The Pizza Club, a bold movement that makes every single pizza on their menu a flat $22. From a classic Margherita to their most loaded special, the price is the same across all their stores, every day. It’s a refreshing declaration that top-quality pizza, made with premium ingredients like imported Italian tomatoes and hand-stretched dough, shouldn’t be a luxury item!

Perth’s cultural heart is getting a major jolt of energy. The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) unveils its celebrated Hatched: National Graduate Show, but not as you know it. For the first time, the exhibition has moved into a massive, light-filled space in the CBD’s Forrest Chase. Placing the future of Australian art right in the city’s bustling centre. It’s the perfect chance to discover 23 of the nation’s most promising creative voices in an exciting and accessible new setting. Hatched 2025 is a free exhibit open from the 2nd of August until the 5th of October.
